Habitat:

Coral reefs, lagoons, sandy or detrital bottoms, between 0 and 50 m (often between 0 and 10 m).

Size:

15 cm on average, up to 30 cm.

Diet:

Seaweed, detritus, molluscs, crustaceans, worms, sea urchins, fish, corals, tunicates, eggs.
