Set out to discover nature at its most authentic. Explore the Han Caves and venture into the Animal Park... Awe guaranteed!
Close encounters with the Wild
Stroll through 250 hectares of unspoilt countryside. On foot along a 2.5 km or 5.5 km trail or in a Safari coach, admire a host of animals from our continent, including the European Big 5 (the brown bear, the wolf, the bison, the lynx and the wolverine), and take in breath-taking panoramic views. Venture into the treetops on the Canopée footbridges… An exploration that ends with “La Colline aux Ours”, 2 hectares of nature dedicated to the brown bear. The Park celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2020!
“Origin”, a brand-new sound and light show in the heart of the cave
Then plunge underground into the depths of the geological miracles of one of Europe’s most beautiful caves, with its underground river and draperies of stone. Under a brand-new magical lighting system, the chambers become ever more impressive and spellbinding! The new “Origin” sound and light show whisks you away on a journey through the millennia, retracing the origins of the world and the caves… Rated 3 stars in the Michelin Green Guide, the caves were also voted Wallonia’s Favourite Tourist Site in 2019!
A magical day, to be pursued at PrehistoHan, a fascinating archaeological exhibition, and at Han 1900, a museum of forgotten trades.
