Behind the scene tour
Accompanied by a science mediator, students will discover what goes on behind the scenes at the large tank.

Objectives : Discover what goes on behind the scenes at the large tank in the “Journey on the High Sea” exhibition : how it works, the animals' living conditions, and the work of the keepers. Learn more about the species (diet, reproduction, classification, etc.).
Learning method : cognitive, affective (exchanges and discussions)
Message : Nausicaá is much more than just an aquarium. Its functioning requires a variety of professions. During the behind-the-scenes tour, you will see the professions of animal keeper/diver, water quality manager, and scientific mediator. There are more than 20 professions represented at Nausicaá. To ensure the maintenance and well-being of each species, several professions are necessary: those mentioned above, but also museum curators, audiovisual technicians, and maintenance workers.
Description : Thanks to a remote voting system, the students will be able to work as a team in a quiz to learn more plastic pollution and its effects, as well as discover actions they can take to reduce their own plastic consumption.
Additional tools : Accompanied by a science mediator, students will discover what goes on behind the scenes at the large tank. They will have exclusive access to the keeper's beach and the fish kitchens
